What does "perpetual" really mean?
You buy the license once. You can install it on your server forever. There's no expiration date. There's no "service" we can shut off. If our company disappears tomorrow, your install keeps running. The only thing that ends is your eligibility for new updates — and even then, your existing version is yours to keep.
Are updates included after the included period?
Professional includes 2 years of updates. Enterprise is lifetime. After the included period, you can renew updates for roughly 20% of the original license cost per year — or skip updating and keep using your current version (security patches for critical issues are backported for 18 months for free).
What if I outgrow my tier?
Upgrade in place. The cost is the difference between tiers, no double-charging. Your data, configuration, and customizations carry forward — it's the same install, just with the seat limit raised.
Can I try it before I buy?

How much does Cloudflare R2 cost?
R2's pricing is famously generous: $0.015 per GB stored per month, and zero egress fees. A 50 GB firm portfolio costs ~$0.75 per month. We don't take a cut — you pay Cloudflare directly with your own account.
What about migration from our current system?
For Professional, you handle the import yourself via the CSV import UI (we provide a column-mapping tool and dry-run validation), and we'll review your existing data structure and provide a custom import script as part of onboarding. Enterprise includes a full white-glove migration with field-by-field mapping.
Do you offer reseller / white-label arrangements?
Yes. If you're an IT firm or consultant who wants to install IPBases for your law-firm clients under your own brand, we have a partner program. Get in touch with the subject line "Partner program."
What's your refund policy?
30-day money-back if the software doesn't fit your workflow. No questions asked, no contractual hoops. After 30 days, we'll work with you on whatever issue you're hitting — but the refund window closes.
